Denylson Namburete is a pharmacist by training, with 18 years of professional experience, seven years working at the Mozambique Ministry of Health, and 11 years working in projects supported by USAID and CDC in the field of patient care and essential medicines, including HIV AIDS, malaria and TB medicines, and malaria and HIV rapid test kits. Denylson’s technical expertise spans pharmacy regulations, including regulatory inspection, drug selection and registration; pharmacovigilance; patient care; and supply chain management and logistics areas, such as forecast, procurement, distribution, supply chain controls, and monitoring and evaluation. Mr. Namburete brings deep knowledge of the Mozambican context in those areas and solid competencies in leadership, management, developing and implementing technical assistance, and building capacities. He has trained government staff based on WHO’s Core Competencies Framework, including fundraising and financial resource mobilization for government entities. Denylson holds a bachelor’s degree and licentiate with distinction in Pharmacy from Instituto Superior de Ciências e Tecnologias de Moçambique.
