USAID MTaPS is presenting its results and experience in building capacities to contain antimicrobial resistance (AMR) as part of its Global Health Security Agenda (GHSA) work at the Global Health Security 2024 Conference from June 18–21 in Sydney, Australia. MTaPS works with 13 countries guided by evidence-based international tools, including WHO’s Joint External Evaluation (JEE) framework and the 2019 Benchmarks for IHR Capacities, to build their national capacities for multisectoral coordination, infection prevention and control, and antimicrobial stewardship.
