Antoine Gatera is a pharmacist with several years of experience in pharmaceutical management, procurement, and supply chain management. He has worked within the health sector for more than ten years providing support to strengthen the supply chain management of health commodities, particularly AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria-related commodities and pharmaceutical systems.
Before joining MTaPS in Rwanda, Antoine worked as country manager for a lead private-medical equipment distributor in the Democratic Republic of Congo and in the great lake region, where he coordinated sales, marketing, logistics, activities, and the provision of technical services as well as to design, and implementation of hospital solutions. He previously held different supply chain leadership positions with various organizations in the Congo, Haiti, and Rwanda.
Antoine Gatera holds a bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences from the University of Kinshasa.
