Deane Putzier

Senior Principal Technical Advisor, Information Systems

Deane Putzier is a healthcare software specialist with 20 years of experience in the industry. Before joining USAID MTaPS Program, Deane worked with MSH on many other projects (RPM, RPM+, SPS, SIAPS) as a consultant and contractor and as full-time employee on the USAID-funded SIAPS project in South Africa. He managed the creation and implementation of software tools and their governance and deployment processes in that role. He has also worked in the financial industry, architecting and building ATM and banking software applications. Recently, Deane worked closely with the National Department of Health in South Africa as a Senior Healthcare Software Architect, the strategic technical software lead for supply chain software initiatives and interoperability. The role required coordinating multiple software solutions from multiple providers for the South African national health strategic objectives. Currently, he is a Senior Principal Technical Advisor on the MTaPS program responsible for Information Systems.
