Strengthening Antimicrobial Stewardship in Ethiopia

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) represents a major threat for the Ethiopian health system and is associated with increased mortality in the country. This technical brief summarizes MTaPS’ support to Ethiopia in addressing AMR by optimizing use of antimicrobial medicines through improved antimicrobial stewardship (AMS).
