Institutionalizing active surveillance through PviMS implementation for patient safety in the Philippines

This technical highlight summarizes MTaPS’ support to the Philippines DOH and FDA in introducing, expanding, and sustaining active drug safety monitoring (aDSM) system using PViMS. It highlights the key interventions, approaches employed and achievements. It also provides recommendations to continuously sustain the gains in safeguarding Filipinos from adverse drug events.
