MTaPS Philippines End of Project Summary Report

This report summarizes MTaPS’ strategic approach, key achievements and results in the Philippines. From 2018 to 2024, MTaPS provided technical assistance to the Department of Health (DOH) to strengthen pharmaceutical systems and capabilities, related specifically to governance; human resources and institutional capacity strengthening; information systems; resource optimization and pharmaceutical services for improved tuberculosis (TB), family planning (FP), and HIV/AIDS procurement and supply chain management (PSCM) and pharmacovigilance (PV); and COVID-19 response.

The report includes recommendations and future considerations for continued pharmaceutical systems strengthening in the Philippines.
