Preparing health workers to respond to health emergencies due to climate change in the Philippines

The Philippines faces significant climate risks that increase infectious disease exposure. To strengthen health system resilience, the USAID MTaPS program supported the Department of Health to capacitate healthcare workers, and military personnel in infection prevention and control, waste management, and emergency supply chain management through conventional and eLearning courses, leading to enhanced practices and preparedness against climate-related health disasters.
