MTaPS Country Summary Report: Tanzania 2018-2025

This report summarizes MTaPS’ strategic approach, key achievements, and results in Tanzania to strengthen pharmaceutical systems and services in antimicrobial stewardship (AMS), infection prevention and control (IPC), and multisectoral coordination (MSC) on antimicrobial resistance (AMR); maternal, newborn, and child health (MNCH); family planning (FP); COVID-19 prevention and control; and regulatory systems strengthening, including strengthening of pharmacovigilance systems. The report includes recommendations and future considerations for continued strengthening of Tanzania’s pandemic response capacity, regulatory capacity, and ability to combat antimicrobial resistance.
